Springs Rescue Mission is taking applications for the the following positions. The first three positions are full-time positions in the programs department.
Manages all elements of the Learning and Career Education Center.
Supervises and tutors participants in the New Life Program, assess
needs and placement of each resident and trains all volunteers that
assist. Must prepare reports and evaluate performance. Requirements
include an educational background, a genuine believer in the Lord and
have a concern for ministry in RESCUE.
Manages all elements of emergency services that include access needs
and distribute provisions to the needy in the community. Network with
local service providers and make referrals where necessary. Prepare
reports and train volunteers. Requirements include some experience in
social work, be a genuine believer in the Lord, and have a concern for
the ministry of RESCUE.
This position closes November 15, 2006.
Provide supervision and spiritual counseling to residents in the New Life Program and train and supervise volunteers who assist. Develop and implement changes and improvements and complete reports that pertain to the New Life Program. Requirements include male candidates who can counsel other men, addiction recovery experience, be a genuine believer in the Lord, and a concern for ministry in RESCUE.
Part time 20 to 25 hours per week. Assist with research on foundations, analyzes program requirements for best fit with foundations, writes text to foundation requirements and tracks reporting requirements. Will also assist with other ancillary fundraising efforts as required. Requirements include a strong writing background, excellent people skills, home office, and familiarity with Christian ministry. Fundraising experience or marketing experience a plus.
Part time 20 to 25 hours per week. Must have experience driving a large U-Haul-type delivery truck, but CDL is not required. Must be able to lift heavy objects such as a refrigerator. Send resume.
