Homelessness, poverty and addiction are harsh realities for so many men and women in Colorado Springs. But these neighbors in need can find help and support at Springs Rescue Mission.
Thanks to community support, the Mission offers these individuals access to innovative programs to help them restore their health, find jobs and move into permanent housing.
The Mission began in 1995, when a compassionate Colorado Springs couple began handing out sandwiches to homeless individuals in the park. In the decades since, Springs Rescue Mission has grown to become the largest homeless service provider in southern Colorado.
Much of the homeless resource campus you see today was constructed between 2016 and 2021, during SRM's "Community of Hope" capital campaign.
The leadership team of Springs Rescue Mission includes compassionate professionals from a variety of backgrounds and industries, led by Christ to bring hope and healing to this community.
They are motivated by faith and driven by positive outcomes, with an ultimate goal of seeing lives transformed throughout Colorado Springs.
As an organization, the Mission prides itself of being a good steward of the support it receives from the community.
When you donate to Springs Rescue Mission, you can have peace of mind knowing that every dollar will be stretched to help those who need it most.
