‍Because of your support, Richard is working and moving into his own home.Richard's* wife passed away recently and due to the circumstances, he ended up living with his brother in Missouri. Unfortunately, Richard's brother is an alcoholic and would often have violent outbursts of anger. Being a military veteran and serving two tours in the Middle East made Richard extremely resilient, so even without a solid plan, he decided to leave Missouri and head to Colorado on foot. He and his wife had lived here previously, and he wanted to return to start a new chapter in his life.Richard's daughter is also in Colorado, and when she found out about his situation, she purchased a bus ticket for him. When Richard arrived he researched the Mission and began staying in the shelter while looking for work.
