November is recognized as National Homeless Awareness Month, so we thought we’d throw out a few ideas of how you can help the homeless in the Colorado Springs community – and maybe have a little fun too. If you’re in town, check out the following events in the next few weeks.

Go to the “2019 Hunger Games Comedy Improv-A-Thon”

See The Vagrant, a play by Brett Hursey

He encounters stockbrokers and offers insight into the retail habits of the working class. He’s joined by his homeless friend Maggie, a well-meaning caseworker and a neurotic hot dog vendor in this story of life on the streets. All proceeds benefit the Give! Watch The Public, a movie about homelessness

“We Have a Story: Homeless in Colorado Springs” photo exhibition
