Hundreds of neighbors enjoyed a homestyle Easter meal last week in the new Samaritan's Kitchen and Dining Room. Guests were treated to a delicious meal of ham, carrots, potatoes and other goodies. Stu Davis, of COS I Love You, offered a message of hope during the meals, and everyone was given a large egg full of hygiene supplies as they left.
Thanks to a special collaboration with Peak Vista Community Health Centers, nearly 200 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to guests and frontline staff at Springs Rescue Mission, with more on the way in early April. Guests were thrilled to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and couldn't contain their excitement as they proudly showed off their vaccination cards.
